Well, this post is a little late in coming. We have had a crazy week. I will walk you through it in the next few posts as I try to catch y'all up.
Lets start with our long weekend and just a little bit of crazy:
We were honoured when our dear friends the Towers asked us to watch their two treasures for the weekend. The result was wonderful. Two 3 1/2 year old boys and an almost 2 1/2 year old girl. Thank you for the opportunity to fill our home with the giggles and laughter and sometimes cries of so many beautiful children Heather and Nathan! We have soooo many wonderful pictures from the weekend, so I may have to do another post later to show some more off, but these should do for now. On our first day as an extended family, we took the chittlings to my parent's pool where we wore them all out with lots of watery fun! Tatum's favourite game was to throw all of the pool toys into the pool over and over and over. If she saw it beside the pool, it had to go in! Trevor loved to jump into the pool a lot and Caleb was just overjoyed with it all! They all absolutely loved to roll Brian into the pool and he let them do it over and over and over. Patience is a virtue that Brian holds in spades! Oh did I mention our uninvited guest? His (her?) picture is below...
My favourite conversation between the boys took place on our walk back to the car after church while they were holding hands and chatting....
Trevor: We are big boys! We are cousins!
Caleb: Yeah! We are big boy cousins!
Tatum got the ball rolling on this game....
...Caleb joined in and they had at it for multiple rounds each!
All is forgiven!
Okay. Just say it. Awwww!
1-2-3....
GO!
Our uninvited guest...tried to make friends with my Mom but instead found himself escorted to the nearest storm drain by my very brave husband. Our hero!
Enjoying a snack from Grammy. They were delighted by the preschool invasion! And look...we got all three of them looking up!
Caleb taught Trevor how to drive his jeep!
Trevor and Tatum stayed with us for two nights and Caleb was very sad to see them go. Apparently Trevor wasn't too happy about it either. They had a playdate the very next day. Heather and I are quite sure that they will have to be friends forever...and Caleb and Tatum have to be sweethearts!
